South Carolina Department of Natural Resources

Operated by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR), fish hatcheries play a vital role in the management of our state's fishery resources.

The mission of the SCDNR fish hatchery program is to propagate those species of fish in sizes required to accomplish fishery managment objectives as recommended by the biological staff and approved by administrative personnel.
